Fitch House
Carleton-Willard's
David Fitch House, a historic bed-and-breakfast-style inn located
just across the street from the Village's main entrance, extends
a warm welcome to Residents' friends, children, and grandchildren.
It's also a delightful home base for prospective Residents who want
to spend a few days getting a feel for Village life.
Two
twin and three queen rooms, named and decorated to reflect the splendor
of Village gardens, surround travelers in floral hues and classic
furnishings. Queen rooms have adjacent private baths; a private
bath for each twin room is located just down the hall. In the game
room, guests can cozy up to a crackling fire and a round of Monopoly
or Chinese checkers. A dining room and modern kitchen are open for
guest use.
A
stay at the Fitch House comes with complimentary self-service continental
breakfast, jitney service throughout the Village, a standing invitation
to our Abbott Dining Room (by reservation), and admission to all
Village amenities and activities (except those requiring prior registration).
For
guests' safety and convenience, the House includes an elevator,
Lifeline® communicators in every chamber room, a personal help
button in each bathroom, and additional communicators in common
areas. In keeping with Village policy, the David Fitch House is
a smoke-free environment.
