Welcome
to Carleton-Willard Village.
Each
day, I steal a moment or two to contemplate the collection of old
photographs that hangs just outside my office. Soft-edged and sepia-toned,
the pictures offer glimpses into the early efforts that led to the
creation of Carleton-Willard Village. But it's not the history that
holds me. It's something less tangible, revealed in the smallest
details: the strength in a face, the warmth in a smile.
As
those qualities have endured, Carleton-Willard has flourished. We've
built a state-of-the-art Wellness Center with indoor pool. We've
added amenities, from a fully-equipped computer center to a garden
lounge. We've completed extensive renovations aimed at enhancing
comfort and care at the Nursing Center. And we've opened the Ross-Worthen
Alzheimer's and Related Dementia Unit, combining the latest insights
into Alzheimer's care with Carleton-Willard's heartfelt philosophy
of health and happiness.
But
if you ask me what matters most about Carleton-Willard, I could
simply point to those old photos on the wall. Because as always,
what matters most about Carleton-Willard is not the place itself,
not the bricks and mortar, but the people who live and work here.
If
you would like more information about Village life, please don't
hesitate to call. Better yet, come for a visit. We can't wait to
show you around.
